My Essential Shooting Equipment

And of course I bought them all on Amazon..

I’m no professional, but I did have to invest in more camera equipment once I started shooting content. Although I do still take some  iPhone pictures, I do prefer high quality images and changing up the perspectives. So, Keep reading to see what I got!

  1. Sony Alpha a7IIK Mirrorless Digital Camera with 28-70mm Lens. This is my favorite camera and what I usually shoot with. If you are a beginner, the quality of the auto setting  alone is worth the investment. We watched a few YouTube’s to learn how to maximize the rest of the settings lol. Speaking of videos the camera is well known for its high video quality. The only thing it lacks is the ability to flip the screen, it only tilts. But, there are add ons that make that possible. Lens can be ridiculously expensive so I only have one,  so will eventually get another.

  1.  Portable Lighting –  Lighting is everything its light weight and small enough to bring out with you. For that reason, I travel with it tall the time. It comes in a case, enclosed with a warmer shade, a USB charger, and a stand.  It attaches to your camera or you can simply hold it out.
  1. Camera Stand– I have a few stands but this one is specific for actual camera, it’s not suitable for an iPhone. This stand is great for when I need to shoot a campaign by my self, for shooting a video, and even group shots.  My camera has the best quality and since it is a bit heavier I love that this is a stable stand thats easy to use and not too heavy to travel with.

  1. iPhone Stand– I throw my iPhone on this stand all the time. I mainly use it to film my stories and TikTok..It grows in height 5ft + and has a bluetooth remote control. However during this quarantine I realize how helpful it was to free up my hands. I can cook (and pour more wine)  while on FaceTiming.

  1. iPhone Stand with Light– I just put this in my amazon cart. It’s like having two more hands. I love that the lighting is on a separate adjustable arm. I think it’s going to be a game changer  in that I have more angles to shoot at.

1.DJI Mavic Pro – DJI Mavic Pro Fly More Combo Collapsible Quadcopter Drone Bundle. I love mine!! It has allowed us to take some of the coolest shots and videos.

This starter kit isn’t the exact one I got but basically has everything you need to get going. I am however, going to suggest a few additional things I found handy:

  • Drone Charging Kit – Drone batteries last about 30 mins. So I highly suggest having backups. My favorite feature is having the ability to charge them all at the same time. You don’t need to be waiting for your batteries to charge on your vacation.
  • Drone Case– This is a light case with protective inside. It keeps everything v.organized too.  Its a small n my hand carry on luggage.

IDK about you, but I love a cool underwater shot. I use my GoPro Hero5 and this GoPro Dome to shoot pics like below.
