My Fav. 5 Markets in London

For Londoner's and Tourist

Living in London, I really enjoyed spending a Sunday strolling through the various markets. However, when I first came to London as a tourist, I never knew how many there actually were. So, I’ve created a list of the best ones to add to your hit list.

Brick Lane– Located in Shoreditch, London’s Hipster area, this is one of my favorite markets. Shoreditch in general is filled with unique street art and great food. Each Sunday there is an indoor Asian food market along with a vintage market downstairs. But that’s not all, there is also another outdoor Brick lane market with local vendors selling jewelry and art work. Walking around the streets you can get in to so many different things.

Camden Market- For a while Brick Lane was my go-to every Sunday but that’s because I hadn’t experienced Camden market yet.

Borough Market – Get ready to eat! Borough Market is ALL about Food 🙂  Located on the south bank on the Thames river, it’s open everyday and has a ton of samples for you to try. There are some great restaurants there too; I personally recommend Roast and Black & Blue.

Covent Garden Market- Oh how I love Covent Garden. Filled with restaurants, street performers, high end stores and of course a Sunday Market. There are so many vintage stands  in the center of Covent Garden, however there is also flee market with great souvenir.

Portobello Market- This is a must see when you head to the famous Notting Hill. The beauty of this market is personally getting to see the colorful buildings. There are many vintage stores in the area but they too have a great market. On Sundays the Portobello Market is much bigger but during the week you can still find fresh food and clothing for sale. If you fancy a bite to eat while there the Farm House is delish and so pretty!

As a little perk, I’m going to give you a few extra markets I haven’t been to but had on my list!

Be sure to tag or send pics if you end up going! Enjoy, hope you get some good treasures.
